- Hi. The bus ride home only took me an hour and a half. They were also showing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on the bus so that was fun!
- I almost fell asleep during our Roadshow at work earlier. Basically, someone from the HR department had a presentation to discuss the new handbook. It took me a great deal of will power to stay awake.
- I don’t want to go back to my dorm. It’s the hottest place I’ve ever been to. I swear I’d rather sunbathe all day than stay the night in my dorm room. Even when the electric fan’s pointing directly at me (my face, my body, my whole effin’ being), with less than half a meter from where I lay, I still sweat profusely. Please don’t let me go back! I beg youuuuu. [Read more…]
The Past Six Months
It’s weird how everyday at work, I write and write about things that aren’t remotely related to me; then when I sit down to finally write the things I really want, they seem harder to come out. I’ve been thinking about this entry since last week but I couldn’t force myself to write.
It’s been six months since I signed my first working contract. It’s been six months since I left unemployment and the millions of uncertainties. It’s been six months since I moved to Makati. It’s been six months since I started work. Besides my longer hair, I can’t seem to think of anything else that has completely or evidently changed. [Read more…]

PHOTOGRAPHY CHALLENGE:
Without leaving your bedroom, try to take 5 interesting photographs. The goal of this challenge is to enhance your skills by taking ordinary objects and making them look as if they’re more than what they are.
Basically, I have to take photographs inside my room to challenge my photography skills or something. The thing is, I’m a lazy person and I just often take photos of stuff nearest to me. Yes, sometimes while I’m lying on my bed with a book in hand. So yes, I’ve taken so much photos inside my room already even though it’s so small that there’s not much to see.
That’s why I think photography isn’t really for me. To take good photos sometimes you need to exert effort and effort isn’t really something I often have. Also, it needs creativity to avoid repetitive photos and subjects (BOOKS LULZ) and I always think I’m not creative enough. I still tried this challenge, though, and I almost gave up. I do wish I’m better at photography. I want to take photos anywhere and anytime without having someone ask me gazillion questions about photography. I specifically abhor it when someone asks me whether I’m good. How am I supposed to answer that?
Only Rainbows and Sunshine
I cannot (and wouldn’t) count the number of times people tell me that I’m the happiest person they know. I am also told that I appear to have no problems and just look genuinely happy all the time. Sometimes I want to agree with them. Sometimes, I even think I’m the happiest person I know. Then I meet great and inspiring individuals, and suddenly, being the happiest person alive isn’t so wonderful after all. [Read more…]
Seven Years Later
Seven years ago, I desperately wanted to buy a bracelet like this. I first saw it worn by DBSK on their Hug performances. I was a new fan. They’re a new Korean boy band. I was new into KPOP. They were my first Korean obsession. [Read more…]
