I’m big on changes. I get easily used to new things but I still like trying something new every now and then. I welcome changes because they bring so many possibilities. This month, our office moved to a different building, just a few blocks away from the old one. For some reason, it’s something I actually looked forward to.
Though it has some downsides, there are actually some pretty good ones:
- It’s quite far from my dorm but it’s still within walking distance. I have to walk 15 minutes just to get there. I need that exercise. I welcome that 15-minute walk every morning and another one at night.
- Better elevators. I no longer have to wait forever just to ride the elevator!
- New things inspire me, I guess.
On our last day at the old office, we had a group picture, of course. Too bad Ate Rona and Ate Anj aren’t in the picture! We took about a million shots, and I knew then that I can never be a model. Taking photos with friends can be fun but posing repeatedly can be extremely tiring, too. Good thing I’m not model-material. Ha!
Anyway, we had a General Assembly last friday in our last office. I expected an hour or so sitting and daydreaming and chatting with whoever’s sitting next to me. Ha! But I was fooled, we were all fooled. It wasn’t a GA, it’s an office blessing or something. It’s surprising to see balloons and people setting up table and chairs. And a photobooth! Instead of getting bored and fighting off sleep for an hour, we had free dinner and some fun for about four hours.
There were some games and I even won a bar of chocolate. Hee. They also raffled some things and that totally blew me away. I didn’t know my companies so rich. Haha. But the one thing I enjoyed the most (besides the food. LITSON!) was the photobooth!
Got the photos from Party Pipol. Heh. A party like this is always welcome partly because a free dinner is something I really, really love.
