This post perfectly sums up my three days in Baguio. It was a fine, fine weekend in which the only things I did either involved food or flowers.
We braved the festive Panagbenga weekend and battled the crowded streets hoping we’d come out alive. Though it can get quite stuffy especially during the Grand Flower Float Parade, the cold weather made it all worth it. Of course, the sight of thousands of flowers arranged in letters and shapes and faces were fascinating as well. I melt over a field of yellow flowers. I have yet to transfer and edit my Baguio photos, but I’m pretty sure they didn’t give justice to the beautiful Panagbenga Festival.
We ate our hearts out, and my Instagram feed made me seem like a foodie. But the food in Baguio is pretty amazing. I came home a couple of pounds heavier and my heart a bit lighter. It’s a lovely weekend, and I can’t wait to tell you more about it.
