Have you ever been in love with a place? I had. I still am.
Elbi is like your first love. No matter how many great loves you encounter in life, that first love will always hold a special place in your heart. Elbi’s exactly like that for me, because no matter how many wonderful places I’ve visited, Elbi will always be my favorite. That sounds way too cheesy but Elbi does that to me. In fact, I’d stretch the cheesiness even further by saying that Elbi is the perfect backdrop for falling in love. *ahem*
Sure, the place has gone through so many changes since I graduated. I only go back once a year, and every time, there seems to be something new. But there’s just the unchanging beauty that won’t pass your notice every time you take a stroll. It’s something you’ll enjoy whether you do it with a friend or alone. Last Tuesday, I did both, and both times it was fun.
Elbi is photogenic, but I know that my mobile photos can never give it justice. They don’t quite capture the sunset slowly enveloping the whole Freedom Park. They don’t come close the relaxing environment brought about by nature and architecture meshing in every part of the university. It’s a great landscape, and it’s a place I’d love to go back to over and over again. Once a year isn’t enough. I wish to do it more often.
It’s been almost a year since I’ve last visited the place. Will be going there this coming Feb Fair and maybe do a little photowalk as well. Love the shots! This post made me miss elbi more. ๐
Elbi is the perfect place to have a photowalk! ๐ I want to go back, tooooo! ๐
Indeed! Although, I get to visit only twice a year, it still feels like my second home. ๐
I actually live just two jeepney rides away and only get to visit once a year. ๐ I’m a sad potato. Haha.
