If you missed the Tumblr fair, I feel a bit sorry for you. Well, not really. But you definitely missed out a lot!
I wasn’t really planning to go since I had no idea where San Juan City is but I just really, really wanted to see so many bloggers. Jinky asked me why I know (they don’t know me, but you know what I mean!) so many Tumblr bloggers and I said that I’ve been a user since 2009. Let’s just say that I’ve been stalking quite a lot of Tumblr bloggers for the past 3-4 years. She then asked me why I still look normal (Jinky: Anong nangyari sa’yo?!) because pretty much everyone we saw in the fair are fashion experts or something. Well, I focused on KPOP, okay. Haha.
I digress.
Anyway, it was a rainy Saturday but that didn’t stop me from going. Jinky instructed me on how to get there since she actually lives near San Juan Gymnasium! It’s the farthest I’ve commuted alone excluding my Makati-Laguna friday adventures. Commuting alone still excites me especially when I’m going somewhere for the first time. Thankfully, I didn’t get lost because the lady who sat next to me on my Quiapo bus ride helped me ask the the bus conductor where Pinaglabanan is.
I was too happy not to get lost that I didn’t mind waiting for Jinky at all. Haha! From her condo, we walked to the gymnasium which happens to be a gymnasium of a local public school. If it weren’t for Jinky, I wouldn’t have found the place!
I was surprised to see that there weren’t that many people. I mean, it’s the first Tumblr fair and I’ve seen quite a lot of reblogs for the promotional poster. But then again, it was a Saturday, the place was out of the way, and it was raining! I almost didn’t go myself, but Jinky would probably hate me if I didn’t. Hehe.
I had a fun time people-watching. It’s quite overwhelming to see fashion bloggers in real life! I’d probably be awestruck to see the likes of Kryz Uy or Tricia Gosingtian! Bring the fangirl-ing on! Actually, there were 4 Tumblr bloggers that I wanted to see but I only saw 3 of them. Still, it was enough to make me all giddy! I wanted to approach them but I only ended up visiting their booth and looking around the place. Not even talking because I was too shy hahaha. I’m a sorry excuse for an “adult”. I can’t even talk to girls.
So many people were so well-dressed that I felt quite silly in my jeans and blouse. I didn’t know we were supposed to wear five-inch heels or combat boots when going to the fair. Haha.
I really enjoyed looking at all the booths. I didn’t take much photos, though. Everyone’s incredibly nice and talking in English, it was unnerving. Haha. They sell clothes for such a low price and I wanted to buy so many things! But I only ended up buying a couple, because I couldn’t decide and I realized that I didn’t exactly have the charm and courage to wear such fashionable items.
It’s my favorite pair! 🙁
But the saddest thing happened when the strap of my sandals broke! It was the worst place to have a Mentos moment, because everyone’s looking pretty and such. I tried to buy a new pair but everything’s too big! Well, I couldn’t buy a pair of size 6 that has a reasonable price. I had no choice but to drag my broken sandals everywhere.
For lunch, Jinky and I went to Jollibee. She was getting all grumpy because of hunger. Haha. We were about to leave after eating but we decided to go back for a quick look. And good thing we did because ended buying some more things. And I ended up seeing another blogger that I had been planning to see. Yay!
I was supposed to meet up with Raissa and Cyrelle but I couldn’t say too long. I was also waiting for Marianne but I had to leave because of my blasted sandals and I also had to go back to Laguna that day. But it’s alright. There will be other Tumblr fairs and there’ll be more chance to meet-up.
And that’s pretty much everything that happened. It’s quite uneventful. Haha. Here’s the little loot I got from the fair:
A denim jumpsuit (P200), an oversized sweater (P50), a floral dress (P150), and a Nyx lipstick (P140). I’m happy with my purchase though the dress doesn’t really have a good fit. Haha.
Can’t wait for the second Tumblr fair. I promise to dress up next time. 😀

Ay ang ganda nga ni Camie~ Grabe mukhang mermaid talaga! Nakita ko rin yang mga nabanggit mo except kay Ina 🙁 Ang mga nakita ko sina Jessa Ang, Chai, Krisha, etc. Ang mga gusto ko makita talaga e yung mala Crissey o Tricia Gosingtian kaso hindi naman ata sila pumupunta sa mga ganto haha. Ay, hindi ko pala fina-follow si littlemissdorkette O_o
Hindi ko kilala kahit isa sa mga nabanggit mo! Haha ang loser ko lang. Ang ganda ni Ina pati nung kapatid n’ya 😀 Onga, hindi ata sila nadayo sa mga ganun haha 🙂
Mga bago at bata pa ata yung mga yun. Hehe. Pero maganda si Jessa Ang (jessaang.com) 😀 Ang lakas naman kasi ng ulan rin nun, nashock ako na halos walang tao XD Pero sabagay super late na ko dumating haha
Hindi ko s’ya kilala pero tiningnan ko yung pinost mong link at ang ganda n’ya nga. *__* Hindi ko ata s’ya nakita? Kasi kung nakita ko s’ya mapapatitig ako ng bongga. Hahaha. Kahit nung umaga konti lang tao. :O
