December is the month of wasting money and crying over the wasted money. I don’t know what’s with this month that made me spend much more than usual. It’s the little finds accumulated over time that made me realize that I won’t be buying a Christmas gift for myself this year. Heh. I guess these things are enough. I don’t regret any of these. I am totally in love with everything I bought.
I wouldn’t post everything. It would be too much, and it would showcase my shopping impulsiveness. In my defense, I only buy cheap things. It may be a lot but it’s all cheap. So.
I promise not to buy another pair of shoes in the next few months. It’s so hard to resist but I swear I will try. I can’t wear flip flops now. I blame Elbi for instilling in me the habit of wearing flip flops. This year, however, I was so fond of wearing flats. But as my flats are bought from Divisoria, they didn’t last long. I now have five (two from divi and three old ones) pairs of heavily dilapidated flats. I need new ones! You need to understand! Haha. But I swear I won’t buy another pair even though I still have tons I wish I can buy. I might buy more wedges, though. Let’s see how my salary will last.
FOURTEEN BOOKS! I know, it’s insane, right? In my defense (again), I bought ten of these in book sales. I got the Narnia set for P29 each! How can you resist a bargain like that? Sadly, I am missing The Silver Chair. So here are the books I bought: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (p29), Prince Caspian (P29), The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (p29), The Horse and His Boy (p29), The Magician’s Nephew (p29), The Last Battle (p29), Shosha (p29), The Christ Commission (p29), LOTR: The Fellowship of the Ring (p85), The Three Musketeers (p85), and Bob Ong’s Ang Mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan (P150).
Ate Feby gave me The Confessions of a Shopaholic. I read it already but I can’t say no to gifts (and to books)! For Christmas, my sister gave me Neil Gaiman’s Stardust and Edith Hamilton’s Mythology. I love my ate for it! She kept teasing me that she’d just give me Laking National Card. Ha!
Since I already have tons of books ready to be read next year, I swear not to buy another one for the next two months. I sincerely wish to be true to my words. I fail so much when it comes to this promise especially when I enter a bookstore. Or worse, a book sale.
P.S. Sorry for my differently toned photos.

P29 na books?! O_O WOW. Sulit. Ang galing mo maghanap! At cute yung yellow shoes :3
Haha, naaaliw ako basahin mga posts mo XD~ At congrats sa 31 books na nabasa mo nung past eight (?) months. Grabe, ngayong 2010 ata less than 10 books lang ang nabasa ko ๐ I hate college. Haha.

May book sale na parang stall lang akong nakikita sa malls (Glorietta at Rob) ngayon eh. Puro P29 lang ‘yung books! Kaso di ko alam kung buong taon may ganun. natiyempuhan lang! ๐
๐ Haha.
